Eau de Parfum
Eau de parfum contains a concentration of 10-20% fragrance ingredients. Pure perfume 20-40%. Eau de toilette 5-10%. Aftershave 2-4%. In general, the higher the concentration of fragrances, the longer a fragrance 'lingers'. However, this differs per brand. An organic scent often lingers less long, because it does not contain synthetic odor fixers. Both Florascent and Sharini have succeeded in creating relatively long-lasting scents, using natural fixers.
Tip : Because a scent is very personal, you can use a perfume sample set requesting the perfumes for which there are no standard samples. We will send five samples for € 5 + shipping costs. If you buy a perfume, you will receive the € 5 reimbursement for the samples as a discount on your purchase.
Perfume notes
The structure of a perfume consists of so-called 'notes': top notes, heart notes and base notes.
- Top notes : is what you smell first when you put on a perfume. Citrus scents are typical top notes.
- Heart notes : you can smell when the top notes have 'gone'. They are often floral scents. They literally form the 'heart' of a perfume.
- Base notes: is what you end up smelling when the top and middle notes are gone. You can smell the base notes the longest! Woody scents are typical base notes.
