The natural plant pigments of khadi's hair colors create a layer of color 'glaze' around the outer layer of each hair strand. The longer you leave the coloring on, the more intense the color tone. Khadi hair color has good coverage - even on gray or white hair. The result of the coloring depends on your original hair color, the condition of your hair and the processing time.

Usage

• Wash your hair with a natural, silicone-free shampoo or cleanse it with the Khadi Deep Charcoal Cleanse Hair Mask .
• Make sure that residues of (not pure) styling products are removed from your hair. Synthetic plasticizers and film formers can weigh your hair down and stick to the outside of your hair. Which can prevent the vegetable Khadi coloring from adhering properly
• If necessary, prepare your hair with the Khadi ColorPrep . Especially if you want to change from light to dark hair color.
• Mix your Khadi Natural Hair Coloring with water of the correct temperature - as in the instruction leaflet for the coloring -. Stick to this temperature to avoid getting green or orange hair. Stir until you have a smooth paste - with the texture of a thick porridge. Tip: for example, you can use a roasting thermometer to check the temperature of the water. Or buy the Khadi thermometer .
• I always place the first bowl in a second bowl of hot water so that the coloring stays at the right temperature longer.
• Apply evenly to your hair with a brush or brush. If you have gray hair, it starts at the roots. Color your hair from root to hair ends. Or just your roots.
• If you pre-colour the roots of your hair, allow this color to work for 30 minutes. Wash out. And then apply the second color. (read more in the instruction leaflet for your coloring + see pre-coloring advice on the color card ),
• Allow the coloring to work for 30 to 60 minutes (or longer). The longer the coloring remains in your hair, the darker the result. Leave it on for up to 30 minutes to give a light to medium color. 60 minutes of an intense darker color nuance.
• Rinse your hair with lukewarm water until you no longer see any color in the rinse water.
• Do not use shampoo for the first 24-48 hours after coloring. The coloring continues to work for the first two days after it has been applied.
• For a longer lasting color effect: massage hair oil into your hair before your next wash. And leave on for 20 minutes, wash off with shampoo

NB: Color chemically colored hair (without coloring it first). Khadi Deep Charcoal Cleanse Hair Mask  used), the coloring may not take effect the first time. In that case, color your hair again after 24 hours. Khadi's tip, even for chemically colored hair, is to first treat your hair three times with the Deep Charcoal Cleanse Hair Mask.
