About Bluebelle
Easy Peasy is a label of Bluebelle Foodworks. Founded by Claire in 2008 and an (online) platform with information and products about good, healthy, tasty, nutritious, conscious and real food. It offers inspiration, tips, recipes and food coaching. Claire writes the books together with Vera. The angles for the books are: nutrition, communication and psychology. Subjects in which Claire & Vera have graduated and have the necessary work experience. Inspiration comes, among other things, from their own families.

'All my life I have been interested in nutrition and why people eat the way they do (including myself). When I became ill in 2006 and overcame my battle with cancer in 2007, everything fell into place. I realized that life is too short not to do what makes your heart beat faster - in my case; working on good food and everything that comes with it. I also wanted to share my experience with 'you only have one body, take good care of it' with others. I said goodbye to my career as a strategist and communications advisor, came up with a concept, followed the necessary training and the rest is history. This is not to say it was simple. It has taken a lot of focus, patience, energy and sowing work to make Bluebelle what it is today. But I still enjoy it every day with so much pleasure that I haven't regretted it for a moment!

“As a psychologist I have learned to delve deeper into how the mind works. But I know from practice that you also have to delve into how the body works if you want to feel better and utilize your potential. The nutrition you put into your body is therefore closely linked to how you feel and what you can give back to the world. This interaction intrigues me every day and continuously drives me to delve further into the 'psychology of nutrition'. Children, whose bodies and minds are still growing, are most affected by this interaction and that is why I think it is so important to draw attention to this subject. Writing the Easy Peasy books together with Claire is a fantastic way for me to contribute to this. My wish is that the positive 'world' of Easy Peasy, in which knowledge about eating behavior, delicious recipes and time with the family at the table, can be an inspiration to deal with nutrition and eating behavior more consciously.”
Vera has two sons.
