Choose the color that suits you based on the images. Or watch the video of INIKA top makeup artist Emily Banks for help with the right foundation color.
NB: For the Baked Mineral Foundation, choose at least a shade darker than you are used to for the Mineral Foundation Powder SPF 25 ! Because the Baked Mineral Foundation also contains other ingredients in addition to minerals, it is lighter on the skin than the Mineral Foundation Powder SPF 25
NB: the four darkest shades are not included in the new packaging. We still have a few on SALE here from the previous packaging. Gone=gone.
Also check out Hynt's Compact Powder Foundation . This one is even purer in terms of ingredients.
Usage
- Use the Vegan Kabuki brush from INIKA , Hynt , EcoTools or another brand. Or foundation brush . Gently stroke the brush over the foundation.
- Tap the brush on a surface to remove excess powder
- Apply the foundation with circular movements. From bottom to top and from inside to outside. Until you have the desired coverage.
Tip: you can use the foundation alone or first apply a liquid foundation and then apply the compact foundation on top. For extra coverage and to ensure that your foundation lasts longer.
Ingredients
NB - Octyldocecanol is a soft (fat) alcohol that is extracted from plants and does not dry out the skin. In cosmetics it is used as a solvent and plasticizer. Octyldocecanol has skin smoothing and fat balance restoring properties. EWG's Cosmetic Database indicates the product is low risk to the skin. It can irritate the skin, eyes and lungs - but this is indicated because it is an alcohol. Because it is a soft alcohol, this was not going to happen quickly. It is an approved ingredient for organic quality marks.
NB - Potassium Sorbate (Potassium Sorbate) is available as a natural version - a component of mountain ash and a number of fruits - and as a chemical product identical to nature. It is a potassium salt of sorbic acid. And is used in food and cosmetics as a preservative - to prevent the growth of microbacteria, fungi and yeasts (it is one of the alternatives to parabens). Potassium Sorbate is an approved ingredient by the organic quality marks. The Cosmetic Database indicates it is a low risk to the skin. It can cause irritation or an allergic reaction to the (scalp) skin. According to a number of studies, this risk is comparable to that of table salt. Potassium Sorbate does not 'accumulate' - it does not stay in your body. There is a maximum safe dose of 25 milligrams per kilo of body weight. You won't get that easily with the small amounts that can be used in food and cosmetics. Personally, I prefer cosmetic products without potassium sorbate. At INDISHA you will only find it in a limited number of make-up products.
